Images and CAD Data from an Archaeological Evaluation at Bullymore's Lodge Farm, Grafton Road, Brigstock, Northamptonshire October 2014

This collection comprises images and a site plan from an archaeological evaluation undertaken in October 2014 by Cotswold Archaeology at Bullymore's Lodge Farm, Grafton Road, Brigstock, Northamptonshire. The evaluation was commissioned by CgMs Consulting, acting on behalf of Geddington Farms. The evaluation demonstrated that the cropmarks previously identified within the site were the remains of a Romano-British settlement enclosure, dating to the 1st and 2nd centuries AD. A small assemblage of Roman pottery was collected from the site and the recovery of charred wheat grains and glume bases from the enclosure ditch indicate that crop processing was being undertaken nearby.
