Phenotype, oxidative stress, and molecular data from Colombian individuals with sickle cell trait

This dataset includes molecular, clinical, and biochemical data from individuals with sickle cell trait in Colombia. Molecular diagnosis was performed using SNP analysis through Sanger sequencing. Clinical records detail common complications, while biochemical markers include oxidative stress indicators, complete blood counts (CBC), fetal hemoglobin (HbF) levels, and hemoglobin S (HbS) quantification. The dataset is suitable for genotype-phenotype correlation studies and biomarker research in hemoglobinopathies.
