A collection of 11,650 specimens (vascular plants, lichens) picked under Robert Hoover â s direction. Sites included Monterey county and San Luis Obispo county. Most specimens were mounted and labeled with: the location picked, the date, the name of collector and scientific name of the specimen. Hoover â s field notes are also available for referencing of specimens not yet mounted. Specimens are kept in herbarium room, next door to processing office where notes are held.
