291 annotated images of insects in various seminatural conditions (mostly trapped on a liquid surface). Images are unmodified from "DIRT: The Dacus Image Recognition Toolkit" ( 10.3390/jimaging4110129 ). Each insect is annotated as a polygon.Annotations are contained in JSON file: `instances_default.json` in the COCO format.Images were annotated by hand or semi-automatically (e.g., using Segment Anything).
