Five groups paleomagnetic data of the Sangdanlin Formation in the Saga area in the Tibetan Plateau, summaried from previous paleomagnetic studies of Yuan et al. (2021, 2022) and Meng et al. (2023).

The previous paleomagneitc data of Yuan et al. (2021, 2022) and Meng et al. (2023) from the Sangdanlin Formation in the Saga area were reanalyzed. The datasets were divided into five groups based on the variation of paleo-inclination. The data of the five groups were used for constraining the back-arc extensions of the southeastern Lhasa Terrane during the Middle Paleocene.
