This study aimed to evaluate the effects of electrofermentation application using the external electric potential of 0.4 and 0.9 volts ruminal fluid in microbial biomass yield, dry matter digestibility, volatile fatty acids, NADH and NAD ratio, and diversity of bacterial communities. The application of 0.9 V increases biomass yield, VFA, and dry matter digestibility and decreases NADH and NAD ratio without changing the bacterial diversity at Phylum level.
