资源简介:
The prevention of diseases caused by Aedes-borne pathogens, such as dengue, chikungunya and Zika viruses, relies on mosquito control. An innovative method adapted for Aedes albopictus mosquitoes is the Sterile Insect Technique (SIT) that consists in the mass-release of sterilized mosquito males. The impact of SIT and the optimization of release strategies can be studied from modelling. This dataset includes entomological collected on the field during an SIT trial in Mauritius, 2017-2019, as well as modelled mosquito population dynamics, obtained from simulations using ARBOCARTO tool, for the same period.
