SDG 9.5.2 Researchers in Full Time Equivalent per Million Inhabitants

This dataset reports the number of researchers in Qatar, expressed in full-time-equivalent (FTE) researchers per one million inhabitants. Researchers are professionals engaged in the conception or creation of new knowledge and in developing or improving concepts, theories, models, techniques, software or operational methods. FTE adjusts part-time research work by converting the actual hours spent on R&D into the equivalent number of full-time researchers. The indicator is calculated by dividing total researchers in FTE by the population and multiplying by one million. Only reported Qatar years in the supplied series are included; missing years are not interpolated.
