Assemblies of leaf endophytes from samples from African Empogona and Tricalysia whole genome sequencing

Total DNA was extracted from the leaves of four species of the Coffeeae tribe (Empogona congesta, Tricalysia hensii, T. lasiodelphys, and T. semidecidua) and sequenced. Bacterial reads were filtered out using k-mer coverage and GC count and assembled using MaSURca. All four species are shown to have non-nodulated leaf endophytes and these are identified as Caballeronia.
