Parkes observations for project P1063 semester 2020APRS_29

We propose to use the Parkes UWL receiver for monitoring a small sub-set of the FAST-discovered pulsars, with special properties. The Parkes UWL system provides a unique capability for studying the pulsars over wide bandwidths. The observation proposed will provide significant insight into the special emission properties of these new discoveries and facilitate science.

我们提议利用帕克斯UWL接收机（Parkes UWL receiver）对500米口径球面射电望远镜（FAST）发现的、具备特殊属性的一小部分脉冲星（pulsar）开展监测。帕克斯UWL系统具备在宽带宽范围内开展脉冲星研究的独特能力。本次拟实施的观测将为深入解析这批新发现脉冲星的特殊辐射特性提供重要科学见解，并助力相关天文科学研究的推进。
