This is a raw data set, containg all the data contucted in a study where the effect of medical grade honey (MGH) on synthetic absorbable suture material was investigated. The data set contains the tensile stregth, strain and young's modulus of polyglactin 910 USP size 2 (PG2), polydioxanone USP size 2 (PD2) and polyglecraprone USP size 2-0 (PC2-0), incubated in MGH, phosphate buffered saline ph 7,4, Equine plasma (EP) and a medium containing EP and MGH. The tensile properties of the suture material was evaluated at day 0 (DRY sutures), day 1,7,14,21 and 28.
