资源简介:
Description of the Dataset This dataset contains clinical data related to patients, including measurements of vitamin D levels, age, sex, disease duration, and various health complications. It was collected to determine the association between vitamin D deficiency and Type 2 DM and its progression. The dataset is structured into several columns, each representing a specific attribute of the patients' clinical profiles. Data Columns and Definitions 1. Registration no: Numeric or alphanumeric unique identifier assigned to each patient. 2. Name: Full name of the patient 3. vitamin D (ng/ml): Numeric value representing the concentration of vitamin D in the blood. 4. Age (years): Numeric value representing the patient's age. 5. Sex: Text value representing the patient's gender (e.g., M for Male and F for female). 6. Disease duration (years): Numeric value indicating the number of years since the disease was diagnosed. 7. Macro vascular complications: Text value indicating the presence of various macrovascular complications. 8. Micro vascular complications: Text value indicating the presence of various of microvascular complications. 9. acute complications: Text value indicating the presence of various acute complications. 10. Glycemic control hba1c (%): Numeric value representing the percentage of HbA1c in the blood. 11. Glucose fasting (mg/dl): Numeric value representing fasting blood glucose levels. 12. VitaminD_Category: Binary value indicating categorizing vitamin D levels as deficient or sufficient. 13. Disease duration (years) category: Text value categorizing disease duration. 14. Age category (years): Text value categorizing age. 16. HbA1c category (%): Binary value categorizing HbA1c levels. 17. macrovascular complication category: Binary value categorizing macrovascular complications as present or absent. 18. micrvascular complications category: Binary value categorizing microvascular complications as present or absent. 19. acute complications category: Binary value categorizing acute complications as present or absent. 20. fasting blood glucose (mg/dl) category: Binary value indicating the fasting blood glucose levels as High or normal. 21. Gender: Text value reiterating the patient's gender (e.g., Male, Female). 22. complication yes or no: Binary value indicating the presence (yes) or absence (no) of any complications. File Structure - Registration no: Unique identifier for each patient. - Name: Name of the patient. - vitamin D (ng/ml): Vitamin D levels measured in nanograms per milliliter. - Age (years): Age of the patient in years. - Sex: Gender of the patient. - Disease duration (years): Duration of the disease in years. - Macro vascular complications: Presence of macrovascular complications (e.g., stroke). - Micro vascular complications: Presence of microvascular complications (e.g., neuropathy, retinopathy). - acute complications: Occurrence of acute complications. - Glycemic control hba1c (%): HbA1c levels, indicating glycemic control, measured as a percentage. - Glucose fasting (mg/dl): Fasting blood glucose levels measured in milligrams per deciliter. - VitaminD_Category: Categorical representation of vitamin D levels whether deficient (less than or equal to 30 ng/ml) or sufficient ( more than 30 ng/ml) - Disease duration (years) category: Categorical representation of the disease duration as less than 5 years, between 5 to 10 years and more than 10 years. - Age category (years): Categorical representation of the patient's age as between 18-35 years, 36-50 years, 51-65 years and 66-80 years. - HbA1c category (%): Categorical representation of HbA1c levels as to less than 6.5% and more than or equal to 6.5%. - macrovascular complication category: Categorical representation of macrovascular complications whether present or absent. - microvascular complications category: Categorical representation of microvascular complications whether present or absent. - acute complications category: Categorical representation of acute complications whether present or absent. - fasting blood glucose (mg/dl) category: Categorical representation of fasting blood glucose levels as to High if more than or equal to 126 mg/dl and normal if less than 126 mg/dl. - Gender: The gender of the patient, specified again for clarity. - complication (yes or no): Indicates the presence of any kind of complications (yes/no). Usage Notes - Ensure to cross-reference the patient identifier (Registration no) with corresponding data entries. - For categorical data, refer to the codebook or accompanying metadata file for definitions of each category. - All numeric values are in standard units (ng/ml for vitamin D, years for age and disease duration, mg/dl for glucose levels, percentage for HbA1c).
