Hepatocellular carcinoma from HMGB1 floxed control mice, treated with the combination of DEN (25 mg/kg i.p. given a day 15 postpartum) and CCl4 (0.5 ul/g, dissolved in corn oil, given weekly starting at week 8 postpartum for 15 weeks) (Hgmb1fl/fl , n=6) b. Hepatocellular carcinoma from mice with liver-specific HMGB1 deletion (HMGB1fl/fl mice expressing Albumin-Cre), treated with the combination of DEN (25 mg/kg i.p. given a day 15 postpartum) and CCl4 (0.5 ul/g, dissolved in corn oil, given weekly starting at week 8 postpartum for 15 weeks) (Hgmb1Dhep , n=6) c. Normal liver from C57Bl/6 control mice (n=3)
