EDP Foz-Tua: Large Mammals (camera-trapping): Complementary Studies [2010]

The dataset contains records of large mammals (Mammalia) collected in the lower valley of the River Tua and included in the Complementary Studies (2010) of the Environmental Impact Assessment of the Foz Tua Hydroelectric Dam, promoted by EDP – Energias de Portugal, S.A. Data were collected between February and March 2010 with 40 cameras in sampling points with favourable habitats in 20 2x2 km UTM squares on the area of the lower Tua river valley directly or indirectly affected by the Foz-Tua dam. The presence of individuals and the species identification was recorded by direct observation of the photos taken with the cameras.本数据集收录了图阿河（River Tua）下游河谷采集的大型哺乳动物（哺乳纲，Mammalia）记录，相关内容被纳入EDP——葡萄牙能源公司（Energias de Portugal, S.A.）发起的福斯图阿水电站（Foz Tua Hydroelectric Dam）环境影响评价补充研究（2010年）。数据采集工作于2010年2月至3月期间开展，在图阿河下游河谷受该大坝直接或间接影响的区域内，于20个2×2千米的通用横轴墨卡托格网（UTM，Universal Transverse Mercator）中的生境适宜采样点布设40台监测相机。研究人员通过直接检视相机拍摄的影像，记录了物种个体的出现情况及物种鉴定结果。
