Links vom König steht sein Weib, neben ihr (in europäischem Rock) ein Vetter des Königs aus Akra. Rechts hinter ihm stehen: sein Bruder Kwasi Kumah und seine Schwester Ameakoah. Auf dem Boden sitzen die beiden 'Leib Sklaven' des Königs. Die Majestät trägt auf der Brust ein Fetischamulet und hat die mit Goldringen geschmückten Finger recht auffällig ausgestreckt."; Note translation: Signature: "Knaus X.A." - He was, of course, the Kyebi King Atta. His wife stands on his left [NB the German 'Weib' is somewhat disrespectful: normally the word for 'wife' is 'Frau'.] Next to her is the King's cousin from Accra. His brother Kwasi Kumah and his sister Ameakoah are standing behind him on the right. The King's two 'body slaves' are sitting on the ground. His Majesty is wearing a fetish amulet on his chest and his fingers are spread out to display their wealth of gold rings."
