EEG MI-BCI Multidirectional Mouse Cursor Dataset (Open-BCI Ultra cortex mark-IV)

This dataset comprises EEG recordings collected for a multidirectional motor imagery-based brain-computer interface (MI-BCI) aimed at controlling a mouse cursor. The data were acquired using the Open-BCI Ultra cortex mark-IV 8 channel wireless EEG headset, which captured brain signals associated with voluntary motor imagery activities. Participants performed trials involving six distinct tasks: (1) imagining right-hand movement, (2) imagining right-leg movement, (3) imagining left-hand movement, (4) imagining left-leg movement, (5) eye blinking, and (6) resting (break) periods. All recordings were conducted at the Biomedical Instrumentation and Signal Processing Laboratory (BISPL), Independent University, Bangladesh.
