Dataset for Facilitated fecundity in sand flax: pollination in an endangered herb of pine rocklands

Linum arenicola was studied in the Lower Florida Keys to determine if and which pollinators are needed for reproduction in this endangered plant. This dataset contains flower visitations in timed watches on two islands (Big Pine Key and Lower Sugarloaf Key) and fruit set from flowers with pollinators excluded, flowers self-pollinated by hand, and open-pollinated flowers on the two island populations. Additionally, details of floral biology and floral herbivory were documented in open-pollinated flowers Additional locality data is excluded due to rarity of this plant species.
