Amur Tiger Re-identification in the Wild (ATRW)

ATRW数据集是由上海交通大学等机构创建，专注于野生东北虎的再识别任务。该数据集包含超过8,000个视频片段，涵盖92只东北虎，每只虎都有边界框、姿态关键点和身份标注。数据集中的虎在多种不受约束的姿态和光照条件下被捕捉，适用于研究野生动物的再识别技术。ATRW数据集的创建旨在通过计算机视觉技术，解决野生动物保护中的监测和追踪问题，特别是在面对偷猎和栖息地丧失的情况下，提供了一种有效的技术手段。

The ATRW dataset was developed by institutions such as Shanghai Jiao Tong University, focusing on the re-identification task of wild Siberian tigers. This dataset contains over 8,000 video clips, covering 92 individual Siberian tigers, with each tiger equipped with bounding boxes, pose keypoints and identity annotations. The tigers in the dataset were captured under various unconstrained postures and lighting conditions, making it suitable for research on wildlife re-identification technologies. The ATRW dataset was created to address the monitoring and tracking issues in wildlife conservation via computer vision technology, providing an effective technical means especially when facing poaching and habitat loss.
