Detailed dynamical laminar organisation in different cortical areas (in ferret in vitro)

The objective of the study was to investigate the detailed dynamic laminar organisation in different cortical areas to highlight inter-area differences. Functional studies using electrophysiology will be paralleled with structural information from the same areas in collaboration with T1.4.1^[1] devoted to the detailed cellular and anatomical structure. Data was obtained from the optopharmacological manipulation of activity propagation in ferret V1 coronal slices (in vitro in ferrets). ^[1] HBP funded projects with task ID T1.4.1 “Microanatomical and functional design of the cortical column” (SGA2)
