Transcriptome response and ectoine analysis of the tropical marine actinomycete Nocardiopsis dassonvillei NCIM 5124 under salt stress

The transcriptional response of Nocardiopsis dassonvillei NCIM 5124 after exposure to 0 percent and 5 percent NaCl salt was investigated by RNA sequencing at the global level in this study. Transcriptome analysis revealed 4950 total transcripts, 2285 total significant genes, 25 up regulated genes,00 down regulated genes, 651 exclusive genes in control, 1211 exclusive genes in treated with 4925 base-line in salt-exposed bacterium cells as compared to the control, salt-unexposed cells.
