Data underlying the BSc theses: Bathymetry: a manual for analysing reservoir depths in Equatorial Africa (author: Mees Rapp); Bathymetry of the Weija Reservoir in Accra, Ghana using the Deeper CHIRPS2+ (author: Pepa van de Wouw)

Dataset created during BSc thesis work of Mees Rapp and Pepa van de Wouw. A 3-weekly bathymetry survey on Lake Weija (Accra, Ghana) has been performed using a CHIRPS2+ fish finder sonar device and Ardusimple ZED-F9P RTK set up. GIS analyses methods have been used to study the quality of resulting interpolated bathymetric maps as a function of the sampling density. The methods have been consolidated in a manual.

本数据集由Mees Rapp与Pepa van de Wouw在其本科理学学士学位论文研究工作中完成构建。研究团队搭载CHIRPS2+探鱼声呐设备（CHIRPS2+ fish finder sonar）与Ardusimple ZED-F9P实时动态定位（Real-Time Kinematic, RTK）套装，针对加纳阿克拉境内的韦贾湖（Lake Weija）开展了每三周一次的水深测量作业。本研究采用地理信息系统（Geographic Information System, GIS）分析方法，探究插值生成的水深测绘图的质量随采样密度的变化规律。相关研究方法已被整理为正式操作手册。
