资源简介:

This dataset is the output from simulations conducted using the SOCOLv3 model as part of the SNSF Spark project: 200021_169241 (Geomagnetic Field and Environmental Crisis Occurrence, GECO). The data includes the following output variables: total ozone, zonal mean temperature, surface air temperature, sea ice, hydroxyl (OH), ozone (O3), nitrogen oxides (NOx), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), nitric oxide (NO), fair-weather current (Jz), ionospheric potential (ionpot), hydroxyl radicals (HOx), hydrogen peroxide (HO2), nitric acid (HNO3), galactic cosmic ray ions (GCR_ion), conductivity (Condact), cloud water (xlvi), cloud ice (xivi), and cloud cover (aclcov). The data is stored in NetCDF format. Each zip file contains the output for one variable across seven experiments: - Jz1: reference experiment with standard autoconversion/aggregation and cloud formation threshold for present-day geomagnetic conditions - Jz2: similar to Jz1, but with reduced geomagnetic field strength, and included chemical effects - Jz4: reduced geomagnetic field strength with enhanced autoconversion/aggregation following to enhanced Jz standard approximately 10% increase in global mean) - Jz5: reduced geomagnetic field strength with reduced autoconversion/aggregation according to decreased Jz standard ( about 10% decrease in global mean) - Jz6: reduced geomagnetic field strength and lower threshold for cloud formation due to increased ion concentrations ( about 10% on a global scale) while maintaining standard autoconversion - Jz7: conducted with standard autoconversion/aggregation and thresholds but under reduced geomagnetic conditions and solar modulation potential. The results should align with those presented in Cooper et al., 2021. - Jz8: this experiment incorporate all relevant parameters: reduced geomagnetic field strength, solar modulation potential, and total solar irradiance (estimated to decrease by -2W/m2). It also features reduced autoconversion/aggregation rates (as a function of Jz increase rate, 20%), and a lowered cloud formation threshold due to an increase in galactic cosmic ray ionization (15%, based on the square root of GCR_ion increase).
