Draft genome of Calamus brandisii

Calamus brandisii is an endangered rattan species indigenous to the Western Ghats of Indian subcontinent. The draft genome as assembled using long reads from Oxford Nanopore Technologies and short reads from Illumina sequencing. This draft genome will facilitate cataloguing of genome-wide markers for population assessment and identification of diversity hotspots of the species.
