A1CF is an RNA binding protein with a highly enriched expression in liver. We have performed PAR-CLIP analysis in livers of C57Bl/6 mice to characterize A1CF’s function and targets. Our results identify a A1CF as a regulator of alternative splicing of a subset of genes influencing insulin sensitivity as well as fructose and glycerol metabolism.
