全球土地退化态势评价数据集是在500 m全球土地退化态势分布数据(2000-2018)基础上,根据土地退化或改善程度进行评价得到的数据集。在该数据集中,将全球的土地退化态势分为两级评价系统。在第1级,将土地退化态势评价划分为3种类型:退化类型、改善类型和无变化类型;第2级,将土地退化态势评价划分为9种类型。将退化类型分为轻微退化(-3)、较明显退化(-6)、明显退化(-9)和极明显退化(-12)四种类型;将改善类型分为轻微改善(3)、较明显改善(6)、明显改善(9)和极明显改善(12)四种类型;无变化类型仍为1类,用0表示。该数据集覆盖全球除南极洲外的陆地区域,空间分辨率为500m。数据集存储为.tif格式,由16组文件(共计96个文件)组成,数据量为163 MB(压缩为1个文件,135 MB)。每个文件代表1个全球按经纬度等分的区域,每个文件覆盖的范围东西跨越45°(经度),南北跨越65°(纬度)。基于该数据集的研究成果在2019年《全球生态环境遥感监测年度报告—全球土地退化态势》报告中。
Global Land Degradation Status Assessment Dataset is developed based on the 500 m global land degradation status distribution data (2000–2018), by evaluating the degree of land degradation or improvement. This dataset adopts a two-level evaluation system for classifying global land degradation status. At Level 1, the land degradation status is divided into three categories: degraded, improved, and unchanged. At Level 2, the land degradation status is categorized into nine subtypes. Specifically, the degraded category includes four sub-types: slight degradation (-3), moderately significant degradation (-6), significant degradation (-9), and extremely significant degradation (-12). The improved category includes four sub-types: slight improvement (3), moderately significant improvement (6), significant improvement (9), and extremely significant improvement (12). The unchanged category is a single type represented by the value 0. This dataset covers all terrestrial regions globally except Antarctica, with a spatial resolution of 500 m. It is stored in .tif format, consisting of 16 file groups totaling 96 files, with an uncompressed total data size of 163 MB (compressed into a single file of 135 MB). Each file corresponds to a globally equally divided region based on latitude and longitude, spanning 45° in east-west longitude and 65° in north-south latitude. Research findings based on this dataset were included in the 2019 *Annual Report on Global Ecological and Environmental Remote Sensing Monitoring – Global Land Degradation Status*.
