Global fertilizer consumption 2022, by nutrient and region

In 2022, the region with the highest consumption of fertilizers worldwide was East Asia, followed by South Asia and then Latin America and the Caribbean. The consumption of fertilizers in East Asia reached some 57.13 million metric tons, whereas South Asia consumed 37.78 million metric tons of fertilizers that year.
