Ship-based Trackline Geophysical Data (MGD77) from the PNG MARGINS Focus Site acquired during the Melville expedition VANC21MV (2004)

This data set was acquired with a ship-based Bell Aerospace BGM-3 Gravimeter during Melville expedition VANC21MV conducted in 2004 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Charles Nittrouer). These data files are of MGD77 format and include Gravity Field data and were processed after data collection. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Processes Controlling Depositional Signals of Environmental Change in the Fly River Sediment Dispersal System, Biogeochemical Cycling and Authigenic Mineral Formation in Suboxic Tropical Mobile Mud Belts, and Monsoon season cruise, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OCE02-03351 and OCE02-20600.
