Eastern Rovte Dialects of Slovene: Common Slovene Vowel Reflexes

Dialect material for basic vowel system analysis was gathered through fieldwork for the Slovenian Linguistic Atlas (SLA, 1946–) in 15 localities in the area of the Eastern Rovte Dialect. It consists of dialect forms of 334 sample lexemes, containing vowel reflexes of the Common Slovene Vowel System (10th century). The material includes answers to the questions V700–V704, V720(a)–V721(e), V727–V/30b, V733A–V734a, V735–V737b, V742(a)–V744, V745(a)–V747, V748(a)–V750, and V765(a)–V765a in the SLA questionnaire (Francka Benedik, Vodnik po zbirki narečnega gradiva za Slovenski lingvistični atlas (SLA), Ljubljana: Založba ZRC (ZRC SAZU), 1999).
