南京主城区公办（初）中小学学区分布对比数据集（2008，2018）

南京主城区包括明城墙围合的内城区和外围地区，即玄武区、鼓楼区、秦淮区、建邺区、雨花台区（东北部）、江宁区（北部）和栖霞区（西部）。作者根据2008年、2018年南京主城区公办义务教育学区范围文字描述，在ArcGIS支持下，参考Open street map、百度地图等，确定学校的位置和学区范围等，得到南京主城区公办（初）中小学学区分布对比数据集（2008，2018）。该数据集包括2008年、2018年南京主城区的以下数据：（1）公办小学位置栅格数据（.tif）；（2）公办小学的学区分布数据，包括学区范围、学校名称、有无分校、学校面积和南京外国语学校录取率等(.shp)；（3）公办初中位置栅格数据（.tif）；（4）公办初中的学区分布数据，包括学区范围、学校名称、学校面积、中考平均成绩数据(.shp)。该数据集存储为.tif、.shp格式，由56个数据文件组成，数据量为8.08 MB（压缩为1个文件245 KB）。基于该数据集的分析研究成果发表在《地理研究》2019年38卷第8期。

The main urban area of Nanjing includes the inner area enclosed by the Ming City Wall and its peripheral areas, specifically Xuanwu District, Gulou District, Qinhuai District, Jianye District, Yuhuatai District (northeastern part), Jiangning District (northern part), and Qixia District (western part). Based on the textual descriptions of the public compulsory education school attendance zone boundaries in Nanjing's main urban area in 2008 and 2018, and with the support of ArcGIS and referring to OpenStreetMap, Baidu Maps and other resources, the authors determined the locations of schools and the boundaries of their attendance zones, and developed the comparative dataset of public primary and secondary school (including junior high school) attendance zone distribution in Nanjing's main urban area (2008, 2018). This dataset contains the following data for Nanjing's main urban area in 2008 and 2018: 1. Raster data of public primary school locations (.tif); 2. School attendance zone distribution data for public primary schools, including attendance zone boundaries, school names, whether the school has branch campuses, school area, and admission rate of Nanjing Foreign Language School, etc. (.shp); 3. Raster data of public junior high school locations (.tif); 4. School attendance zone distribution data for public junior high schools, including attendance zone boundaries, school names, school area, and average scores of the senior high school entrance examination (.shp). This dataset is stored in .tif and .shp formats, consisting of 56 data files with a total size of 8.08 MB (compressed to 245 KB in a single file). The analytical research based on this dataset was published in *Geographical Research*, Volume 38, Issue 8, 2019.
