INNOVATIVE METHODS FOR DEVELOPING PROFESSIONAL MASTERY AND LEGAL THINKING AMONG LEGAL PERSONNEL

This article examines innovative, practice-oriented methods for developing professional mastery and legal reasoning in the context of legal education reform in New Uzbekistan. Its conceptual contribution is an integrated instructional cycle connecting doctrinal knowledge, fact qualification, legal argumentation, procedural strategy, ethical judgment and reflective self-assessment. Using systemic, comparative-legal, competency-based and design-oriented methods, the study develops an applied framework in which doctrinal knowledge is tested through authentic professional tasks. The framework combines case-based learning, moot courts, legal writing laboratories, clinical tasks, peer review, negotiation simulations and reflective portfolios, while emphasizing legal reasoning, evidence assessment, ethical judgment, communication, digital responsibility and continuous professional development. The findings suggest that legal education should move beyond knowledge reproduction toward demonstrable professional performance, evidence-based assessment and sustained competence development.
