Photograph of Citrus Avenue looking north from Badillo Street, Covina, CA, ca.1908. A long line of rectangular buildings lines the far side of the street, starting in the foreground at left and extending into the distance at right. Most of the buildings are single-story wooden structures, but there is a two-story brick building in the foreground at right, and several large buildings in the distance. All of the buildings have cloth awnings extending out over the sidewalk in front of them. A line of utility poles runs parallel to the buildings, and several horse-drawn vehicles are parked on the side of the street.; Legible signs include, from left to right, "Groceries", "Dry Goods Ladies Furnishings", "The People's Store", "Millinery Wrappers and Skirts", "Men's Furnishings Clothes", "Hats Shoes Trunks", "Call Patterns", "R. Mears & Co.", "Meals 25¢[?] Lodging [?] Boots [?] Coffee 10¢", "Covina Bicycle and Auto Wks. Machinists and Engineers Phone 23", and "First National Bank".
