MinEMIL: Minority-Enhanced MIL for Fine-Grained Lymph Node Metastasis Classification

We employ the NIMM dataset for the four-class classi f ication of lymph node metastasis. This dataset comprises 629 whole-slide images collected from the Liaoning Cancer Hospital and Institute, China. Experienced pathologists annotate the extent of metastasis using four categories: Negative (N), Intra-tumoral Cells (ITC), Micro metastasis (Micro), and Macro-metastasis (Macro). For WSIs containing multiple metastatic lesions, the slide-level label is determined by the largest lesion, whereas slides without any metastatic regions are labeled as Negative.
