Dataset for analysis on the links between adverse childhood experiences, resilience, and transactional sex among young South African women

This dataset corresponds to the quantitative analysis in a convergent mixed methods study of women aged 18-25 in Mpumalanga, South Africa. We used logistic regression to examine associations between adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and transactional sex (TS), and tested whether five resilience scales across the individual, interpersonal, and community levels within a social-ecological framework moderated the effects of ACEs on TS.
