Models of Liver Cancer: To induced HCC animal model, pups (Fourteen-day-old male) received a single intraperitoneal injection of Diethylnitrosamine (DEN; 25 mg/kg body weight; Sigma-Aldrich, USA) at postnatal day 14. A 20% solution of carbon tetrachloride in corn oil was injected intraperitoneally once weekly, starting at week 6 and continuing until week 28. All mice were sibling littermates. Mice were euthanized at the end of the experiment. Liver tissues were collected for subsequent analysis. Total RNA was extracted and used for RNA sequencing and data analysis.
