Holding Pattern

Current Effective Date: 0901Z 09 Jul 2026 to 0901Z 03 Sep 2026 A Holding Pattern is a predetermined maneuver which keeps an aircraft within a specified airspace while awaiting further clearance. This Holding Pattern data is provided as a geospatial vector file format and depicted on Enroute charts. Holding Pattern information is published every eight weeks by the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration-Aeronautical Information Services.
