The data collection method involved fault simulation experiments conducted from August 29 to September 1, 2025, in a central air-conditioning laboratory located in Changsha, Hunan Province, China. Data were collected by controlling the supply fan operating frequency, chilled water valve, fresh air damper, return air damper, and manually blocking the supply air outlets. Fault conditions were determined based on factors such as supply air velocity, supply air temperature, supply air static pressure, chilled water valve opening, and supply fan frequency. The dataset includes variables such as air handling unit (AHU) supply air temperature (°C), AHU supply air velocity (m/s), AHU supply air static pressure (Pa), chilled water coil temperature (°C), chilled water regulating valve feedback (%), AHU supply air temperature setpoint (°C), supply fan operating status, and supply fan frequency feedback. In this context, the term "air handling unit" refers to the supply fan.
