The role of NLRC5 knock out in high fat diet-induced obesity measured in female mice after 11-weeks of intervention

In this study, the role of NLRC5 in metabolic traits as well as in the transcriptional regulation beyond MHC class I genes was examined. Therefore, a 11-week high-fat diet was administered to female NLRC5 knock out and wild type mice. Phenotypic, morphological and biochemical analyses were performed, as well as 16S rRNA amplicon sequencing of fecal samples, which were collected longitudinally throughout the intervention.
