This study aims to elucidate how phenotypes altered by prior stress affect resistance to subsequent antibiotic treatment in S. aureus.
Conclusion:
The stressors lead to distinct phenotypic diversifications, and further diversified these phenotypic alterations after antibiotic treatments depending on the mode of action.
