Dataset for "Enabling real-time optical networks as distributed sensors via open-source telemetry architecture"

This dataset contains the CSV files generated from the Monte Carlo analyses performed to test telemetry-based sensing in optical networks, as described in the associated paper: “Enabling real-time optical networks as distributed sensors via open-source telemetry architecture,” Journal of Optical Communications and Networking, 18(6), B187–B199 (2026).Paper link: https://opg.optica.org/jocn/fulltext.cfm?uri=jocn-18-6-B187 The files provide the data used to support the figures presented in the paper and document the numerical analyses carried out to evaluate the proposed telemetry architecture for sensing applications in optical networks. This work is part of the EU project SENSEI.
