资源简介:
Pulmonates being the most evolutionary developed gastropods attract significant attention of the researchers because they are obligatory intermediate host for a number of trematodes which eventually infect vertebrates including humans. From this point of view the immune system of pulmonates and its main effector, hemocytes, are of most interest. Planorbarius corneus is a common to Eurasia freshwater pulmonata species. With the aim to characterize a novel model organism for the studies of gastropod immunity and get new insights into P. corneus immunity reactions against trematodes we sequenced transcriptomes of P. corneus hemocytes collected from intact and infected with Bilharziella polonica snails.
