资源简介:
The aim of the study was to analyze the relationship between sense of coherence (SOC) and life satisfaction and emotional well-being in retirement age. The research sample consisted of 240 older people, aged 55-70. Following techniques were used: The Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS) by Diener et al. and The Scale 'Emotions᾿ by Wojciszke et al., The Sense of Coherence Questionnaire (SOC-29) by A. Antonovsky. The results show significant relationships between sense of coherence (SOC) and subjective well-being (life satisfaction, emotional well-being) in retirement age. The greatest role in predicting life satisfaction and negative emotions is played by manageability. The greatest role in prediction of positive emotions is played by meaningfulness. The important role is also played by age, sex, comprehensibility and meaningfulness. peerReviewed publishedVersion
