Interplay between therapeutic drugs and gut microflora and its prognostic implications in Graves disease

The pathogenesis of Graves' disease (GD) is greatly influenced by the gut microbiota, yet the microbiome's involvement in GD pathogenesis is still unclear. Studies assessing how the microbiome affects the therapeutic efficacy are scarce. Our objective is to acquire more about how antithyroid drug (ATD) treatment alter the gut microbiota's composition and its association to thyroid function.
