ThearticleexaminescomplexcoloradjectivesintheearlypoetryofBorisPasternak.Theaimofthestudyistoidentifytheirstructural,semantic,andcognitivefeaturesinpoeticdiscourse.ThematerialincludespoemsfromOvertheBarriersandMySisterLife.Thestudyappliesstructural-semantic,contextual,anddistributionalmethods.Theempiricalbasisconsistsof226instancesofcolortermsidentifiedthroughcontinuoussampling.Theresultsshowthatcomplexcoloradjectivesconstituteapproximately4%ofallcolorterms,indicatinglowfrequencybuthighfunctionalsignificance.Theseunitsarecharacterizedbysemanticdiffusion,metaphorization,andsynestheticinteraction.Unliketraditionalsymbolicsystems,colorinPasternak’spoeticsfunctionsasadynamicelementofcognitiverepresentation
