Derived Data for Kidney Cell-Type-Resolved Transcriptional Adaptation After Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy

This repository contains the machine-readable derived data supporting the study “Kidney Cell-Type-Resolved Transcriptional Adaptation After Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy.” The dataset includes 41 data components supporting Figures 1–5, supplementary analyses, and supplementary tables. The study analyzes paired kidney biopsy samples collected before and after vertical sleeve gastrectomy, with donor-level statistical analysis, together with an unmatched healthy reference cohort and independent external validation data from the Wilson study. The data are derived from publicly available single-cell transcriptomic resources, including GEO accessions GSE315877, GSE195460, GSE151302, and GSE131882, as well as the Cellxgene resource reported by Naik et al. This repository does not contain raw sequencing files, identifiable participant information, or original public datasets. The derived data, documentation, indexes, and metadata in this repository are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This license does not apply to the original datasets obtained from public repositories.
