Annual dry-season riverbank positions (2000–2024), erosion labels and a reviewed public erosion inventory, Tien and Hau rivers, Vietnamese Mekong Delta
收藏资源简介:
Annual dry-season riverbank positions measured from Landsat 5/7/8/9 (2000–2024) every 100 m along the Tien River (Cambodian border to the My Thuan bridge, about 127 km) and the Hau River (border to the Can Tho bridge, about 146 km), both banks, and all round each of the 11 river islands of 1–150 km² in these reaches, Vietnamese Mekong Delta. Banks are the first water seen from the mainland on dry-season (1 January – 1 May) median MNDWI composites; there is no composite for 2012. Files:- banks_annual.csv: bank position per transect side and year, with coordinates (WGS84), commune and 2 km unit.- banklines.geojson: the same banks as polylines per channel, side and year.- trends.csv: Theil–Sen retreat rate and series type (linear, step, non-linear) per transect side.- units_2km.csv: 2 km bank units with satellite-measured retreat (2013–2015 to 2022–2024), satellite erosion labels and physical and exposure covariates.- inventory.csv: reviewed inventory of publicly reported erosion sites 2015–2024 (warned-reach lists, news reports, emergency decisions, MARD 2018 WebGIS, Open Development Vietnam points), with sources and review verdicts.- unreported_reaches.csv: 2 km units whose 75th-percentile satellite-measured retreat reached 20 m and that have no row in the retrieved reports, with a blind visual check on Esri World Imagery Wayback.- accuracy_clicks.csv: hand-clicked banks on high-resolution imagery compared with the Landsat bank of the same year.- README.md: full description of columns, accuracy and licences. Accuracy against hand-clicked banks (RMSE): 33 m on the Tien main channel, 19 m on the wide Hau, 30 m on the narrow Hau and 15 m on island channels; repeatability 3.1 m per composite. Licences: bank positions, trends, unit labels and covariates CC BY 4.0; the inventory and all commune-based columns CC BY-SA 4.0 / ODbL (OpenStreetMap, Open Development Vietnam).
