Genomes, metagenomes and transcriptomes of Enterococcus gallinarum

This study aimed to study the within-host evolution of a gut pathobiont E. gallinarum in mice. Both natural isolates sampled from the liver and feces of SPF (NZWxBXSB) F1 mice and experimentally evolved isolates picked from monoassociated mice were collected. All the isolates were whole-genome sequenced by Illumina Novaseq, and the complete genome of a (NZWxBXSB) F1 mouse-derived fecal isolate was made by integrating Oxford Nanopore sequencing and Illumina sequencing. The metageomes of E. gallinarum population at multiple sites in mice and the transcriptomes of 3 representative isolates were also included in this bioproject.
