Parkes observations for project P1063 semester 2020APRS_12

We propose to use the Parkes UWL receiver for monitoring a small sub-set of the FAST-discovered pulsars, with special properties. The Parkes UWL system provides a unique capability for studying the pulsars over wide bandwidths. The observation proposed will provide significant insight into the special emission properties of these new discoveries and facilitate science.

我们提出将使用帕克斯UWL接收机（Parkes UWL receiver），对一小批具备特殊属性的FAST（500米口径球面射电望远镜）发现的脉冲星（pulsar）开展监测工作。帕克斯UWL系统（Parkes UWL system）具备在宽频段范围内开展脉冲星研究的独特能力。本次拟开展的观测将为深入解析这批新发现脉冲星的特殊辐射特性提供重要洞见，并助力相关科学研究的推进。
