We screened for target genes of hsa-miR-548ac by transcriptome profiling. The miRNA was overexpressed in HeLa cells by transient transfection of a precursor miRNA expression plasmid. High-density Affymetrix Human Transcriptome Arrays (HTA) 2.0 were used for the gene expression analysis. This GEO entry provides the microarray data preprocessed according to the gene level workflow. HeLa cells were transiently transfected with a non-viral precursor miRNA expression plasmid (HmiR1085-MR04, GeneCopoeia). As negative control, a plasmid with scrambled sequence (CmiR0001-MR04, GeneCopoeia) was used. RNA samples were obtained 24 h and 48 h after transfection of the mir-548ac plasmid (n=3 replicates) or the control plasmid (n=2 replicates). For all 10 RNA samples, transcript levels were measured with Affymetrix HTA 2.0 microarrays.
