The RsphCyc is a pathway-genome database of Cereibacter sphaeroides ATCC 17025. It can be accessed via Pathway Tools software. It provides comprehensive information related to the metabolism of C. sphaeroides, including with the available scientific evidence available on metabolic reactions and pathways. The draft PGDB that was retrieved from the BioCyc portal, was created computationally, not manually curated or reviewed, and did not represent the complete central C metabolism. Therefore, the retrieved PGDB was curated based on literature data and bioinformatics analysis which enhanced the confidence in the predictions done by the model that would be built from the PGDB.
