Includes Figure S1 and Tables S1–S7. Figure S1, T helper cell differentiation and B cell activation by the innate immunity. Schematic overview, how microbes activate the innate immune systems leading to T helper cell differentiation and proliferation and how immunoglobulin class switching recombination is induced via a T helper cell-dependent and independent pathway.
